On July 1st, 1998, the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors approved the formation of six Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) regions, to assist with the organization and administration of service delivery and operations (see Archived Microfilm Board Record R 2908, F 171). Each HHSA region consists of a set list of ZIP codes. HHSA region polygons are comprised of ZIP code polygons from the SDEP.SANGIS.ZIPCODE data maintained by SanGIS.
