Description: DPW conducts periodic, routine flood control maintenance including debris, vegetation and/or sediment removal, of culverts, bridges, and other facilities, to prevent flooding of either adjacent roadways or dwellings throughout the County of San Diego, including all unincorporated areas maintained by the County. RGP-53 is a regional general permit issues by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that allows DPW to conduct this work. The 1089 RGP-53 sites are located throughout the unincorporated sections of the County of San Diego. Due to the sensitivity of the habitat in many of these sites, a highly accurate record of the location and spatial extents of the sites is mandatory so that field maintenance crews stay with the area defined by the issued RGP-53. The maintenance efforts are often evasive. Work falling outside of the permitted area or that encroaches on sensitive habitat or threatened/endangered species results in loss of that habitat and costly mitigation efforts.

Description: This is the County of San Diego, Department of Parks and Recreation polygon Parks_CN layer. This layer is parcel-based, representing park units by their collective parcels, rather than bounding polygons, and represents County Park-specific owned, co-owned, leased, funded or cooperatively managed park units. Because this dataset includes managed, leased or co-owned properties, overlap with other property owners or management agencies will be apparent if using similar parcel-based layers.Attributes and CodingLabel: ShapeDefinition: Feature geometryLabel: OBJECTIDDefinition: System generated keyLabel: carto_nameDefinition: Park unit name.
