Service Description:

The General Plan - Land Use Element provides a framework to accommodate future development in an efficient and sustainable manner that is compatible with the character of unincorporated communities and the protection of valuable and sensitive natural resources. This layer and its associated spatial and tabular components is representative of the Land Use Element of the County General Plan. Originally digitized from the source map by Department of Planning and Land Use (DPLU) GIS in 1997, It is now regularly maintained by Land Use and Environment Group GIS (LUEG-GIS).
